That’s a picture from Saturday night after the game going to get something to eat. We let one slip away from us but we have to have a short memory and be ready for the Knicks tonight. Im actually about to get ready to head downand get on the bus as we speak. Just wanted to check in with everybody and say what’s up. Josh, you played well tonight…but that was another tough loss. You guys attacked the basket in the 4th and locked it down defensively, but the last few minutes there were too many jump shots. You guys got away from what was so successful. They had no answer for you or Al inside.

I am sad and unhappy. I cannot believe the knicks beat us again and won the series 3-1. really? why?how come? what happened?
you had a great game and played well and tough. One more time you played like an ALL STAR and proving everyone wrong and shutting their mouths.
The question im asking my self and my buddies here , ALL HAWKS FANS big time, is why cant our team be in a win streak 12 in a row ? or why cant we be at 2nd seed and also ahead of orlando? are they better ? are they more experienced ? are they more pro than us?
i believe we gave this game away! i believe we can get 3rd ! i believe we can get orlando and the remaining games we can win! we can win teams like baucks away or nets away or chicago or toronto , even miami! miami wont even make the playoffs this year!
KEEP up the good work , keep up the power and passion! and you kight want to pass that along to some other of our teammates! we could have score when it was 97-96 and 3 mins went by and no one scored til al harringhton fired a 2. anyway.

I wish you had put that last dunk right into chandler’s face, but luck was not on your side yesterday night. Nevertheless, I can’t help but seeing you improve game after game, and that’s really impressive, especially the way your game has evolved for these last 5 years.
When you joined the hawks, I had great hope in you (just like I did 20 years before, when Kemp joined the supersonics) : each season passing by, and especially this one, you’re transforming that hope into reality. Thanks a lot for that : when you don’t have wings, it’s a gift to see you flying high.

That was a tough loss last night but we have to bounce back. I read about you helping the late young athlete’s family and I’m proud to be a fan of a player that gives back to the community like that. That really means a lot to the citizens of Atlanta. It really let’s us know that you didn’t forget where you came from. I know that yoiu guys are probably off today and getting some much needed rest but will be getting ready to get a W from the Pistons on Sat night. I just had to commend you for your good efforts. Re:Donations…..kid you got CLASS. I work for a company in atl that had a shooting at our work. Several people died, with that said. The outpouring of financial support usually stops after the story drops from the news. For you to remember the family, really shows me that you are not caught up in being a SuperStar. You have a great head on your shoulders, I will always be a fan. I really enjoy following your blog this year and watching you become one of the best players in the NBA. Thanks for the highlight reel! and thanks for giving me restored faith in our fellowman.

my son is a big fan of yours. He plays on a 10-under team for Charles R Drew Charter school @ the YMCA, and their games have ended. I’m proud to say that their team went undefeated this year and i wanted to do something nice for them. I wanted to know if it was anyway possible we could come to me you and the team for a few words of encouragement. All the team members attend the Drew Charter school which is located in the East lake community. I would like for them meet a positive, professional athlete.

that was sweet! It is easy to throw stones and be negative but that isn’t what God wants us to do. I have my ways and my issues and no one is perfect (God knows I am not) but I wish Josh and the Hawks well from the heart! I honestly just got into the game so I learning as well. We all need to love on each other and support each other a little more. I don’t want to be disrespectful to Josh, especially on his site and if I feel I need to tell him something I am woman enough to say it in a respectful way. We might not always agree but we can all love each other more than what we are doing. I am going through so much in my life right now and trust me when I tell you, it is the Little things that often mean so much. So thanks and let’s support our Hawks and each other.

Josh, it’s very heart-warming and beyond considerate of you to help out the Bennett family during what has to be one of the most difficult times of their lives. After hearing and reading only bits and pieces of their story, my heart was left heavy with sadness for this family. You should know that your acts of kindness goes a long way, Josh and I’m certain you are making a huge impact on this family. We all hear about heart-touching stories that are life changing for others almost everyday. Those of us who would like to help, but can’t are thankful for those of you who can help and do so. I feel a sense of honor that my “MOST FAVORITE” basketball player is stepping up in the community and giving back!! Kudos to you, Josh!!!

I find it somewhat disheartening and disappointing when fans groan when you pull up for a jumper. I can tell that you’ve put a lot of work into it. And I agree that it needs to become part of your overall game in order for you to become a complete player. I think you should keep shooting it (in rhythm like Nique says) and it’ll start to drop. Then watch out NBA! Keep putting the work in and remember us real fans pay attention and appreciate all you do.
